SALES TAX LAW CHANGES IN NEW YORK CITY
|
Effective August 1, 2009, the Sales Tax imposed on certain transportation services by the
New York State Department of Taxation and Finance
has been changed via
Sales Tax Memo N-09-12
from 8.375% to 8.875% in New York City.
Sales Tax Rates for other areas in NY State will remain the same.
